The La Liga match between Granada and Athletic Club was abandoned on Sunday after the death of a supporter in the stands. The fixture at the Nuevo Estadio de Los Carmenes was paused in the 17th minute as medical staff were sent into the stands to help with an emergency situation. They attempted to try and resuscitate the supporter but were unable to before the game was called off shortly after.
