Established in 1985, the club has quickly risen through the ranks of Ghanaian football to become a dominant force in the country's premier league. The club's name, "Aduana," is derived from the Akan people's word for "fire," symbolizing the club's fiery passion for the sport.
The club's journey to the top tier of Ghanaian football was a rapid one. After just 24 years of existence, Aduana Stars earned promotion to the Ghana Premier League in 2009. In their debut season in 2010, they defied all odds to win the league, setting a record as the club with the fewest goals scored in a season to win a league title worldwide. This remarkable achievement earned them a reputation as a defensive powerhouse, a trait that has become synonymous with their style of play.
Aduana Stars' success didn't stop there. In 2017, they clinched their second Ghana Premier League title, further cementing their status as one of Ghana's top football clubs.
