In their first season in the Northern League Division Two, they won the league and were promoted to the Northern League Division One, where they currently compete.

Stockton Town FC has also enjoyed success in cup competitions. They reached the final of the FA Vase in 2018, a national competition for teams at their level, which was a significant achievement and testament to the club's progress.
