Muangthong United

Muangthong United is a professional football club based in the Muang Thong Thani district of Nonthaburi Province, Thailand. Founded in 1989, the club has quickly risen to prominence in Thai football, becoming one of the country's most successful and popular teams.

Originally known as Nong Jork Football Club, the team underwent several name changes before settling on Muangthong United in 2007. This change marked a new era for the club, as it began to attract top talent and invest heavily in its infrastructure, including the construction of the SCG Stadium, a state-of-the-art facility with a capacity of 15,000 spectators.

Muangthong United's rise to the top of Thai football was rapid. In 2008, the club won the Thai Division 1 League and earned promotion to the Thai Premier League (TPL).
